Picture Perfect
Contributor, Julie Sabatino, Fashion Stylist for
“Picture Perfect”
Julie understands the frustration a bride-to-be
encounters when looking for that dream gown; she
tried on more than 100 before finding the perfect
one for her own wedding in 2001. The experience led
her to start her own company, The Stylish Bride,
which offers one-on-one bridal fashion and style
consulting (recent clients include Stephanie
LaGrossa of CBS’s Survivor). For the DWH shoot, “I
looked for dresses that weren’t typical beach style
gowns,” she says. “You don’t have to wear a sheath
dress to get married on an island. Barbados, with
its old world charm and stunning scenery, made a
great backdrop for theses glamorous gowns.” Julie
lives in New York City with her husband Michael. She
has been featured in the pages of Inside Weddings,
and Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and appeared
on the Style Network’s Who’s Wedding Is It
Anyway?
