Q: Where exactly on my head should I place my veil?

A: It depends on your hairstyle, says NYC-based bridal stylist Julie Sabatino.  If you wear your hair in a bun or chignon, the veil should be placed just about the knot of hair (unless your bun is very high, in which case the veil should go below it).  For a half-up style, attach the veil to where the hair is gathered.  If you wear your hair down, the veil should be attached with a comb at the back of your head.  To experiment with your look, book a trial run with your hairstylist and bring your veil.
