Julie Sabatino, Founder and President of The Stylish
Bride®, L.L.C., is dedicated to making the bridal
shopping experience fun and stress free for her clients.
The concept for The Stylish Bride came shortly after
Julie began a thorough search for her own wedding gown.
Four months and over one hundred dresses later, she
found the perfect gown! She quickly realized, however,
that there was much more that needed to be done to
achieve her own vision of wedding day style. Finding the
perfect veil, headpiece, shoes, handbag, and jewelry
required countless additional hours. Balancing all of
this while planning a wedding and managing a successful
finance career made her wish she had a bridal expert to
coordinate the entire process. Three years later, Ms.
Sabatino founded The Stylish Bride.
After receiving a BA from George Washington University,
Ms. Sabatino began her New York professional career in
the investment banking department of Salomon Smith
Barney. Realizing her creative talents needed to
flourish she left the finance world and attended New
York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, earning an
Associate Degree. Ms. Sabatino began her fashion career
as an assistant to the owner and head designer at
Kleinberg Sherrill, a leading American luxury accessory
brand. At Kleinberg Sherrill, Julie helped design
several handbag collections and styled company and
editorial photo shoots. She then acquired valuable
industry experience while working for renowned bridal
designer Amsale Aberra. While at Amsale, Julie helped
countless brides attain their perfect wedding day style.
Ms. Sabatino now focuses her design and fashion
expertise exclusively on bridal fashion and style
consulting.
Ms. Sabatino is a recognized bridal industry expert. Her
recent magazine profiles include Elegant Bride Magazine,
InStyle Weddings, Inside Weddings, and
Grace Ormond Marriage. She has been quoted in numerous publications
such as InStyle Weddings, Elegant Bride, Modern
Bride, New York Weddings, Modern Bride New York, Brides.com and Time Out New York. Ms. Sabatino has appeared on
ABC's Eyewitness News, The Knot TV and the Style Channel's
"Whose Wedding is it Anyway?". In addition, Ms. Sabatino is a
Contributor to Elegant Bride Magazine, has served as
Market
Editor for Bridal Book Magazine, and penned the
"Style Down the Aisle" blog for
iVillage.com and styles photo shoots
for numerous magazines including Destination Weddings
& Honeymoons, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and
Bridal Book Magazine.
Ms. Sabatino is an enthusiastic supporter of several
professional and charitable organizations. She is the
former President of The New York Wedding Group, an
origination for New York’s top wedding industry
professionals. She is a longstanding volunteer of The New
York Junior League, where she has helped organize the
annual Wedding Day and House Tour events, and currently
sits on the NYJL Shops committee. Ms. Sabatino has also
served on the board of the New York Chapter of the “Making
Memories Breast Cancer Foundation” where she worked on the Brides Against
Breast Cancer wedding gown sale which raised over $80,000.
Ms. Sabatino resides on New York’s Upper West Side with
her husband Michael and daughter Annmarie. She is passionate about traveling,
cooking, and is happiest entertaining at home for family
and friends.
