Julie Sabatino of The Stylish Bride Named
President of The New York Wedding Group


February 6, 2006, NEW YORK -- The New York Wedding Group, a non-profit association of wedding industry professionals, has appointed Julie Sabatino of The Stylish Bride as President of the New York City based organization.

“I am honored to be leading The New York Wedding Group,” said Ms. Sabatino. “The main purpose of my business, The Stylish Bride, is to facilitate the process of looking your best on your wedding day. The New York Wedding Group also aims to ease the process of wedding planning by bringing together the very best the New York bridal community has to offer. I look forward to sharing my expertise and that of the group’s with the New York community.”

Ms. Sabatino is founder of The Stylish Bride, a unique fashion styling service that helps brides conceptualize and achieve their ideal bridal style. The Stylish Bride works with brides and their wedding parties from around the country and assists them in finding the perfect dress as well as accessories, hair stylists and make-up artists. Ms. Sabatino is also a contributing editor, stylist and columnist to several bridal themed publications and websites.

The New York Wedding Group is the only association of independent companies and professionals who have the interests of the wedding customer as their common focus. The main goals of the group are to enhance the wedding planning experience for the customer and to enrich the professionalism of the NY wedding community. The New York Wedding Group was founded in 2004 and currently has a roster of approximately 60 members. It is an affiliated partner of The Boston Wedding Group.
